Acacia Park

Acacia Park is an important asset for the local community of Telopea. The park’s revitalisation is part of a Parramatta Council initiative to enhance its green spaces, ensuring they provide popular amenities well into the future.

With the Parramatta skyline as a backdrop, the overall theme is ‘The City”. The upgraded park facilities now include improvements to the skate bowl and playground equipment in line with the theme – including an accessible platform featuring a unique view of the Parramatta CBD. It also features the city’s only flying fox.

In addition to the nature play area, the park offers a very impressive range of facilities and activities. These include a multi-use court, a new walking track with blocks for strength training and resting seating, toilet facilities, and Christie A series of barbecues with sheltered picnic areas for the perfect family Sunday.
