Oak Park Playground, Clyde North

Oaks Park Playground is hard to miss, with a towering 16-meter funky giant green play tower as its centrepiece. With two of these giant, twirly beauties, an extensive range of exercise amenities, and a section suitable for the little ones featuring a sandpit, mini slide, and more minor things to climb on and crawl through, the playground has something for everyone.

Located across the lawn from a sprawling sports area offering basketball, tennis, and a BMX/skate park, the playground and picnic area features a Christie Modular public barbecue, cleverly modified with recycled hardwood battens by MDG Landscape Architects to match the eye-catching bespoke picnic shelter.

Oaks Park is the beating heart of the Eliston residential project in Clyde. The park is nestled amidst gorgeous, planned landscapes. An orchard and community garden are also located nearby, referencing the site’s recent market garden history subtly woven throughout its design.
