Wangal Park Wetlands

Wangal Park Wetlands is a four-hectare public open space in Sydney’s inner west. Once a brick pit, local Councils have transformed the site into a vast recreation space. It offers an extensive range of outdoor community facilities. Amongst the 10,000 planted native trees, shrubs, ground covers and bike paths are public use barbecues, making it a perfect family destination communal barbecue.

You will also find exercise and entertainment facilities, including an enticing playground for children of all ages. Both councils made a point of adding inclusive facilities across the park communal barbecue, such as accessible playground equipment and our celebrated A Series wheelchair accessible barbecues.
