The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) recently revealed its State Awards nominees. These ceremonies celebrate the remarkable achievements of landscape architects nationwide, and as longstanding supporters, we at Christie Barbecues are very excited.
Since its inception in 1966, AILA has championed excellence in landscape architecture. With members spanning diverse sectors, including local and state government, it represents the collective voice of landscape architects. AILA advocates for the profession’s interests at the highest levels. Its members are committed to creating sustainable environments that enrich communities across Australia through knowledge-sharing and professional development.
The AILA Landscape Architecture Awards showcase members’ ingenuity and creativity in revitalising urban spaces and restoring damaged landscapes. The nominated projects exemplify the profession’s commitment to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and design excellence.
In the lead-up to the National Awards, we will attend State Chapter Awards ceremonies in WA, VIC, NSW, ACT and QLD. These events celebrate the outstanding contributions of landscape architects in each region and highlight the diverse range of projects shaping Australia’s built and natural environments.
We extend our warmest wishes for success to all the nominees across the 18 categories. Your dedication, creativity, and passion for landscape architecture inspire us all.
